Vision

We aim to provide customers in academic science, research & development and diagnostics with efficient tools for cell and protein separation. For each segment, we develop separation tools to isolate target cells and/or proteins from a wide variety of biological fluids. We always remain focused on the user-friendliness of our products, ensuring high quality results and additionally reducing time and resources for the routine tasks of our customers. The cell and protein separation tools developed by pluriSelect are versatile in application and form the basis of research in cancer, rheumatic illnesses, arteriosclerosis and allergies.

Company History

pluriSelect GmbH, located in Leipzig, Germany, is a young and dynamically growing biotech company. We develop, produce and distribute innovative separation technologies for the isolation of cells, proteins, viruses, bacteria and a variety of other targets from whole blood, cell culture, cord blood and other heterogeneous biological fluids.

2006 - Formation of the cliMECS GmbH
2006 - Development of the proprietary cliMECS platform technology
2006 - Fund raising and pre-seed financing by Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF)
2007 - Start of prototype development
2008 - Start of small batch production
2008 - Seed financing by HTGF and TGFS
2008 - Renaming of cliMECS GmbH to pluriSelect GmbH
2009 - Sales start for R&D customers
2010 - Introduction of a cell release system. Isolated cells can be released from the catcher particles in fast and gentle way.
