Our pluriStrainer is a universal sieve for a variety of laboratory applications where the purification of liquids or the extraction of sample materials is required.
Mesh sizes
pluriStrainers are available in mesh sizes between 5 and 1,000 µm.
Color coding
pluriStrainers are color-coded and therefore easy to distinguish from each another.
Mesh material
pluriStrainers are available with PET or nylon mesh.

Easy handling
The pluriStrainer is placed on a standard 50 ml centrifuge tube. The sample material is placed on the sieve and filtered.
Work with both sides
The pluriStrainer can be inverted to obtain the retained sample. The concentrate is then rinsed into a fresh tube.
Sample volumen
The sieve can hold a sample volume of 4 ml. With the pluriStrainer Funnel up to 24 ml of sample material can be placed on the pluriStrainer®.
Stackable
pluriStrainer cell strainers can be stacked to form a strainer cascade and enable multi-stage filtration.
Flow control
The pluriStrainer Connector erlaubt die Durchflusskontrolle durch den Zellenfilter.
Negative pressure
The connection of a syringe or vacuum pump to the pluriStrainer Connectorcan generate negative pressure and thus support the filtration of the sample material.
Sample dissociation
With a Plunger and closed Luer cap of the pluriStrainer Connectorsample material can be crushed directly on the sieve mesh of the pluriStrainer cell sieve.
