pluriStrainer 18 mesh sizes - 2 mesh materials

pluriStrainer, cell strainers

from pluriSelect, are suitable for a variety of laboratory applications, such as the extraction of true single cell suspensions or the removal of cell aggregates from cell culture supernatants. pluriStrainers are stackable and allow simultaneous filtration with different mesh sizes.

What is the mesh size?

The specified mesh size refers to the size of the openings in the filter material of the pluriStrainer. It is the distance between two adjacent warp threads, measured in the center of the mesh size. The size is specified in millimeter (mm) or micrometer (µm).

What mesh sizes does the pluriStrainer have?

The pluriStrainer is available in 18 color-coded mesh sizes, ranging from 1 µm to 1.000 µm. This enables direct filtration with different mesh sizes. A unique design improves aeration and avoids clogging during sample processing.

The pluriStrainer range of mesh sizes offers a number of advantages over other cell strainer:

Flexibility

pluriStrainer are universal cell strainers suitable for a wide range of laboratory applications, such as obtaining true single cell suspensions or removing cell aggregates.

Wide range of mesh sizes

pluriStrainers are available in 18 colour-coded mesh sizes, ranging from 1 µm to 1.000 µm. This enables direct filtration with different mesh sizes.

Stackability:

pluriStrainer are stackable and can be combined to form a filter cascade for simultaneous filtration with different mesh sizes.

In which mesh material are the pluristrainer available?

The pluriStrainers are available with PET (polyethylene terephthalate) and nylon fabrics, which we have specially selected to ensure efficient filtration and durability.

To understand the different types of filters available in our pluriStrainer and to obtain technical advice if required, please contact us to discuss your application in advance so that together we can ensure that you select the filter that best suits your specific laboratory requirements.
