The funnel serves as an extension of the pluriStrainer. The funnel is used to load the sample for larger volumes onto the pluriStrainer supported. The funnel increases the sample volume from 4 to 24 ml. The combination of funnel, pluriStrainer, connector and a 50 ml centrifuge tube enables the rapid filtration of large volumes of liquid, such as blood, buffy coat, urine or rinsing fluids.
