Streck Urine Preserve is a ready-to-use solution that stabilizes nucleic acids in urine samples from 25 mL to 100 mL. The solution preserves the integrity of samples for up to 7 days at temperatures between 6 °C and 37 °C. The preservative reduces the lysis of cell material, preventing contamination of the originally present cell-free nucleic acids. At the same time, it inhibits the degradative influence of nucleases during storage at room temperature.
