The Syringe Strainer 500 µm is a universal filter for sample preparation and is also suitable as a cell strainer. The lid with Luer connection makes the strainer suitable as a syringe filter.

15 other mesh sizes and the modular design give the laboratory filter a range of specific functions in addition to versatility. The strainer, with its large capacity and screw cap, is not only autoclavable but can also be centrifuged.

Features

Locking & connecting

The Syringe strainer can be closed with a lid. The lid has a universal Luer connection for connecting disposable syringes or tube connectors. 

Direct sample homogenization

A pestle can be used to efficiently grind sample material directly on the mesh, To 
regulate the strainer can be combined with the ÜberStrainer Connector.

Support through negative pressure

In combination with the ÜberStrainer Connector, a vacuum can be connected using a syringe or vacuum pump to support the filtration process.

Large sample reservoir

The reservoir of the strainer has a capacity of 6 ml.
