Here you will find separation media with different densities for different requirements for the isolation of specific cell populations using density gradient centrifugation. PBMC Spin is recommended for the isolation of PBMC (peripheral blood mononuclear cells - includes lymphocytes and monocytes) from fresh sample material. Leuko Spin is optimised for the isolation of all leukocytes from fresh sample material. If your blood is older than 12-24 hours, we recommend PBMC 24+ or Leuko 24+ with an optimised composition for these conditions. To isolate monocytes or platelets from human blood, use Monocyte Spin or PLT Spin. Not the right one? If you need a special density for use on animal blood or similar sample material, use our High Density Spin Medium together with our Density Diluent Medium and mix any density between 1.000 and 1.100 g/ml.
